:-) A takto nám píše:
Hi! How are you? I’m doing great! I really like this new family and I think they like me, too.
When I first got home I was scared and felt overwhelmed by all the new people around me, but gradually I became more comfortable and now I feel perfectly fine here!
I had a bath the first night here, which I didn’t like. I kept trying to jump out of the tub but my new mom and two sisters held me in.
Before the others go to school or work each day, I go for a run with my dad and brother we run 7 kilometers! It’s fun to be out and exercising in the morning before most people are awake. Then the kids go to school and dad goes to work, but my mom stays home with me and we go on walks or I rest at home while she goes out.
For the first couple of days I stayed in the kitchen so I could get comfortable with one area at a time, but now I go wherever I like. Also, I slept the first week or so in my parents’ bedroom. I still like to spend the night there, but I nap anywhere.
I used to get in trouble for running into the bathrooms and tearing apart rolls of toilet paper, but I don’t do that anymore. Still, the family usually keeps the bathroom doors closed in case I get up to my old antics.
On the weekends the girls walk me, and we usually go to a park with a playground and walking paths. It’s really nice! Often, there are other dogs out for walks too, so I get to meet new dogs.
I’m beginning to understand English, too! I’m learning words such as “sit”, “stay”, and “down”. I’m still working on “release”... I don’t like giving my toys up! I don’t always understand, but I’m trying.
Last week, on Christmas, the family and I went to Pokropske Udoli for a hike. It was really fun! I ran around and played fetch. I found a puddle of stinky mud and rolled around in it, so I had to take a bath when we got home. Speaking of Christmas, I got a lot of presents! I have some toys already, such as my awesome black stuffed rat, but I also received a squishy blue bone, a grey rabbit, a pheasant, and a rubber ball. Also from my dog cousins in the USA, I got dog treats!
Overall, life is good here with the Sullivans. Everyone loves petting me, romping around outside, or wrestling on the ground.
Love,
Laura
P.S. They changed my name to Zoe, but I answer to both Laura and Zoe.
